  1. Dear janelle:
    I learned yesterday.
I am upset as we all are.
The city and tri-state have only to lose.
    It is beyond me.
    Hopefully not end of story.
    Respectfully / amicalement

  2. Glad to have found you here, Janelle. And glad you enjoyed the CSO/MFC concert this past weekend. I join others in truly missing arts reviews in the paper. Hopefully, it’s a decision that will be reconsidered, sooner rather than later. In the meantime, I’ll be checking here, and wish you all the best.

      • Hi, Janelle– I found your review of Saturday’s May Festival concert (Poulenc, MacMillan). Did you write one for Friday and if so, where can I find it? Many thanks, Peg

  3. Dear Janelle,

Thanks for writing this lovely blog! I’m the music publicist at the University of Chicago Press and am wondering if you would be interested in receiving review copies of any of our recently released or forthcoming titles. Please email me for more information.

    Many thanks and best wishes,
    Tristan
